Bio:
Howard Pavane is a multiple award winning songwriter and lyricist. His inspirations come from real events and experiences, which he creatively weaves into narrative acoustic folk style compositions describing "Songs of Life". Howard’s talent as a storyteller is widely recognized for consistently tight lyric content.
Residing in Long Island, New York, he performs original compositions on piano, keyboards and acoustic guitar. However, his principal objective lies in his award winning craft as songwriter and lyricist.
Howard performs at least once a month via the Island Songwriters Showcase (ISS), including songwriter circle sessions. He also plays various local gigs at small clubs and other venues and performs at benefits. Howard works toward continually improving the craft of songwriting by taking on-line classes at SongU.com and attending conferences and other events, such as the ASCAP Expo.
He is currently in the process of recording his existing collection of songs while constantly writing new material. During the past year he has upgraded his instruments, equipment and home recording studio. Howard's goal is to promote, sell and license his original songs and/or lyrics.
